PLANT BASED DIET

Choosing a Plant Based diet:

There are a variety of vegan and vegetarian diets to follow. These are the more popular ones:

  • A Vegan diet allows only plant foods to be consumed.

  • A Vegetarian diet allows some animal products to be consumed. Checkout Lacto-vegetarian and Ovo-vegetarian diets.

  • A Raw Foods diet allows only raw, uncooked foods to be consumed.

  • A Flexitarian diet allows for meat, poultry, fish and dairy products to be eaten, along with plant foods.

Regardless of your dietary preference, it just makes good sense to include a healthy variety of grains, vegetables, beans, nuts, fruits and other plant foods in your diet.
